My Individual Plot Synopsis

Its 2020 and Charlotte Kate, the government spy, and Daniel Hardy, her accomplice, have been sent off on a mission to find information on a newly made billionaire who is living in Zell Am See, Austria. The two get to their hotel in Austria and set up equipment that they will be needing to use over the course of the stay. Both place an earpiece in their ears before leaving the room. The two dine on the first night together in a small but busy restaurant in the town where Christopher, the billionaire is living. As Charlotte sees Christopher get up to go to the bathroom she follows, waiting just before the narrow corridor. When Christopher comes out of the bathroom Charlotte walks past and bumps into him falling to the floor. Christopher extends his arm out to help Charlotte up while asking her out for drinks the next night to apologise for knocking her over and she accepts as this was her plan all along. Christopher reaches into his pocket pulling out a business card with only his name and an email address on it, scribbles a time and a bars name on it before handing Charlotte the card. She takes it, winks and walks back to the table, grabbing her coat and walking straight out. Daniels face lights up with a smile as he follows her out and back to the hotel.

Charlotte gets ready to go and meet Christopher, putting in her ear piece so that Daniel can monitor what is going on from a car just a street away from the bar. As Charlotte arrives at the bar Christopher is waiting outside and as she turns to close the door of the taxi she arrived in Daniel drives past her, neither of them acknowledge it as to make sure Christopher is clueless. Christopher and Charlotte enter the bar and he asks her about her upbringing, she completely lies telling him that she worked in a shoe shop as a sales assistant and recently inherited money from a deceased relative and decided to spend it on ‘’a holiday abroad to Austria, ski central, despite not being able to ski.’’ She tells him. She then asks about him, he says that ‘’what if he was to say the same’’ before she replies that she doesn’t believe him. He puts his glass down and says for her to follow him. She hears her earpiece crackle in to life in her ear as Daniel says ‘’Go, I’m right behind you’’. Charlotte nods with a grin on her face at Christopher and the two leave the bar. They pull up outside a large Scandinavian looking mansion half way up the side of the Schmittenhöhe. Charlotte follows him inside. Daniel pulls up slowly after, looking for cameras on the outside before placing his own motion sensor one on the floor just outside of the iron gates covered by leaves. The two walk past a large conference looking room with paper work all over the massive oak table standing in the centre of the room. As Charlotte looks in Christopher quickly pulls the large door closed, locks it and puts the key into his pocket. Christopher leads Charlotte into a living room with a glass wall looking out over the snowy slopes with the lights of Zell Am See glistening in the distance. He pours her a glass of wine, she takes it from his hand as she sits, watching him intently. Christopher pours himself a glass, places the keys from his pocket next to the bottle and walks over towards Charlotte who has now changed her gaze from him to looking out of the huge glass windows. Christopher places his glass on the side table as his phone rings. He scowls at it and says he has to take it. As Christopher leaves Charlotte whispers to Daniel on the earpiece telling him to get outside and that she’s on her way. She tip-toes over to the keys on the table and picks them up without making a sound before slipping them into her blazer pocket. She jogs lightly over to the door that Christopher went into shouting in ‘’I’m sorry to be a pain, I have to rush off, I’ve left my number by the bottle of wine, call me, please’’. Christopher shouts okay and she runs out of the huge building jumping into the car with Daniel. She turns to him slowly with a solemn look on her face before pulling the keys out of her pocket and the two explode into a fit of laughter.

The next day, Daniel is at the computer when an alarm goes off saying that the motion sensor he placed outside of Christopher’s house has been disturbed before a clip of his black Mercedes jeep pulling out from the iron gates appears. Charlotte and Daniel pull on their coats before jumping in the car to head off to Christopher’s house. As they arrive Daniel stays outside just up the narrow lane in case Christopher was to return. Charlotte uses the keys to let herself into the mansion and then into the conference looking room. She looks at the paperwork strewn on the table, they’re books filled with items and spy services he has sold on the black market worth thousands and millions of pounds. Just as she finishes telling Daniel about everything and putting the evidence into her bag Daniel shouts through the earpiece ‘’get out of there now, he’s back’’. As Charlotte comes out into the corridor she hears the front door slam closed, she spots a small side door and runs out of it. Two sets of skis are leant against the houses wooden exterior. She reaches into her bag for her clips that allow her to clip into skis in whatever shoes she’s wearing and grabs two poles from off the ground. She chucks her bobble hat on and heads off down the hill just as she hears the door open behind her and Christopher come out shouting for her to come back. The earpiece crackles into life once more and Daniels voice informing her the agents are on their way to the bottom of the hill to arrest him. Charlotte can hear that Christopher has put on his own ski’s and is now in pursuit of her down the hillside towards Zell Am Sell. As she reaches the bottom Christopher is close behind and has no time to slow down and change direction, he crashes into Daniel who grabs him before he can get away and the agents take over from Daniel. Charlotte turns around so that Christopher can see her face and he shouts ‘’I thought you couldn’t ski you cow’’ while being put into the backseat of a large black car.
